Robin Pomeranz
Managing Director
Previous Work Experience: I've worked in the world of PR for most of my career. I spent 17 years in the creative studio at Ogilvy PR where I grew a seedling of a department into a profitable, thriving offering within the agency.
In addition to managing the day-to-day of the studio, I worked with designers to develop collateral across a broad spectrum of 20-30 client accounts in the healthcare, consumer and corporate arenas. I was involved in every project from "soup to nuts."
From a strategy standpoint, my strength is in the conceptual phase of a project... brainstorming, creating program/product names, themes, strategic platforms, messaging and taglines and bringing them to life visually.
Some key health care campaigns that I worked on: Merck's Zocor: Know the Heart Part campaign with Dick Clark, Berlex's Betaseron: The Image of MS (photographic exhibition), Ethicon's Pelvic Health campaigns: Breaking Ice about SUI with Bonnie Blair, and the US launch of Levitra.
I have a passion for creating compelling ways to package information; finding unique ways to send press materials to editors, avoiding the 9x12 pocket folder at all costs!!
Other areas of interest are project management, sourcing talent and event management.
I'm so excited to be here at 'nition! I love the environment and the team is amazing. I feel lucky to be part of such a talented, creative group of professionals.
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology
Specialties/Skills: The desire and willingness to "get things done!" while keeping a sense of humor.
Personal Interests: Spending time with my family, going to Fire Island on summer weekends, cooking and drinking wine. In that order.
