'nition is a word that means all things "active"... it's about forward progress in the work we do; it's about anticipating all aspects of a problem or opportunity; it's a visual symbol/cue representing our reliability and limitless energy... it's about discovery and delivering for clients with uncommon passion. Think about the power of all the words ending in nition — strong words conjuring strength and clarity in the world around us.
While technology today gives us the power to extend the boundaries of creativity, it's important to begin with a solid foundation. That's why all of our designers have been schooled in traditional design, with expertise in layout, typography, and color. Each team member builds upon this foundation, adding a flavor of their own (learn more about that "flavor" in the meet us section of the site).
In addition to conceptual and digital design, we also offer a variety of production services, including large format and laser printing, presentation materials, complete mock-ups, and pre-press/mechanical services.

The 'nition Story
'nition, a Chandler Chicco company, launched operations in April 2004, primarily to support the design and production needs of various public relations and advertising teams at Chandler Chicco Companies. Our humble studio — originally located in the basement of 120 11th Avenue — was the "hidden gem" of Chandler Chicco Companies (CCC) and became an invaluable resource that consistently delivered imaginative, relevant and sophisticated design products.
'nition's deliverables helped fuel the growth and success of CCC, which in turn increased the demand for 'nition expertise and creative execution. As an integral part of new business support as well as numerous client initiatives, 'nition garnered a reputation — both internally and externally — for its exceptional work.
Today, 'nition has emerged from the basement and has earned its place on the 6th floor of 450 W 15th St. with a staff of dedicated professionals designing communications to meet the demands of the health and wellness community.
